Because music oasis is a community, there must be rules in place to provide the best atmosphere for everyone involved. The rules are as follows:
All the forums are categorized by topics. Please post your questions or messages in the appropriate forum.
If a topic is posted in a forum that is not appropriate for the question, the staff has the right to move that topic to another forum or in rare instances delete the topic.
The posting of any copyrighted material on the FORUM is strictly prohibited.
All opinions are welcome. This is a discussion board. Disagreements are to be expected. How we handle disagreements is a crucial component to good conversation. Online discussions must follow very specific guidelines so that a respectable flow of thoughts and ideas is possible:
There will be no racial, ethnic, sexual, or gender based insults or any other personal discriminations. This will not be tolerated and can lead to immediate suspension.
There will be no posts meant to offend or hurt any other member, or posts made in a manner that is offensive or inflammatory. This includes flaming or instigating arguments. Using profanity that is intended to insult, degrade, or attack another person is cause for immediate removal.
If you have a concern or a problem with a comment that is being made, do not take matters into your own hands. Please use the REPORT THIS POST button located in the offending comment and let a moderator handle it. Engaging in public arguments only aggravates the situation and ruins the discussion thread.
Spamming is not permitted; please keep all your posts as constructive as possible.
Signature images must be kept within a maximum area of 715 pixels wide by 300 pixels high. If your signature does not meet these rules, scroll bars will appear around your signature and it will not be fully visible. Adjust the size to make the signature viewable. The staff has the right to modify your signature if it causes formatting problems with the website.

We have community members from every corner of the globe using a variety of internet browsers, which requires us to keep the forum as smooth loading as possible.
Lengthy signature images take up valuable forum space and unnecessarily increase the size of discussion topics.
Text signatures are limited to 5 lines or 2000 characters; whichever comes first. If your signature is larger than the allotted size given or deemed unacceptable, you will be requested to adjust your signature. Failure to comply will result in the removal of your signature.
Any links in signatures cannot be commercial in nature.
Links in your signature must be unobtrusive and cannot use formatting so that attention is brought to them.
Pornography, warez, or any other illegal transactions may NOT be linked in any shape or form.
Do not "bump" dead threads to the top of the forum without adding information that is specific to the topic. Make sure the content is relevant to the ongoing discussion. Generally speaking, a thread has no comments posted in it for more than two weeks should be considered a dead thread. If you bump a thread that you have written, it will be locked.
Linking to homophobic, anti-Semitic, racist, pornographic, warez, or other illegal sites is not permitted.
Avatars must be in good taste. This means no vulgar or violent images, pornography, or profanity. Avatars that are found to be inappropriate will be removed at the discretion of the staff.
This forum has the right to request alteration or deletion of any offensive post. If this is not done in a prompt manner, the Staff will delete the material themselves.
Posts may be deleted for any reasons the forum administrators deem reasonable.
Pictures may be posted as long as they are not explicit, offensive, or copyrighted. Please keep your images to under 715 pixels wide. Pictures that alter the format of the forum will be subject to removal.
